Kalpana Kewat’s Success Story:
Meet Kalpana Kewat and her husband, Satinder Kumar Kewat two individuals who defied the odds and embraced life with resilience and hope. Despite living with a 50% disability in one leg, both Kalpana and Satinder never let their physical challenges hold them back. Kalpana developed her disability due to polio just six months after birth, but that hasn’t stopped her from leading an independent life, working as a Computer Operator in the Revenue Department, and walking without any support.
Today, she is not only an empowered woman but also a proud mother of a beautiful baby girl named Istomya, a name that symbolizes Maa Saraswati in Sanskrit.
The Beginning of Their Journey:
Kalpana and Satinder married in 2020 and started planning for a family soon after. They tried to conceive naturally in 2021, but months passed, and their dream of parenthood remained unfulfilled. However, they stayed patient and never rushed into seeking medical help or medications.
In March 2023, Kalpana conceived for the first time, but her joy was short-lived as she suffered a miscarriage. Determined not to give up, she tried again and conceived in August 2023, only to face another heartbreaking miscarriage. After the second miscarriage, Satinder, who works as a chef in Indore, returned to his workplace, leaving Kalpana to navigate the pain alone in Maihar, Madhya Pradesh.
